Don’t talk to me about shoestring budgets until you’ve worked at a small snowboarding brand based out of an old Vermont barn. In 2012 we decided to embark on a project that seemed impossible at the time but nowadays is completely commonplace. Remember, this was a time before vlogging when people still read magazines.

The goal was to produce 12 webisodes, filmed and edited in real-time, released once per month for 12 consecutive months.

The result was an often overlooked precursor to how media is created and consumed now, not just in snowboarding, but across social media and marketing. Highlights include driving from Vermont to Whistler in a 37-year-old station wagon with bomber teeth painted on the front. We only got pulled over twice.
